Description

A delicious seafood dish with lobster tails baked to perfection and smothered in cheese!


Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Lobster: Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tails down to the base. Be sure not to cut the tail. Gently pull the meat out, slightly lifting it over the shell while keeping it attached at the base. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Season the Lobster: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the lobster tails.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish: Once out of the oven, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the lobster tails for added flavor and color.

Notes

  • For a golden crust, broil the lobster tails for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the lobster reaches 140°F (60°C).
