Description
A delicious and easy strawberry cake made with pie filling and topped with cream cheese and cake mix.
Ingredients

- 2 cans strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
- Cube cream cheese and distribute evenly over the strawberry layer. Add vanilla extract over the top.
- Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over the layers. Do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake mix as evenly as possible.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Fresh strawberries can be used for garnish.
- Make sure not to stir the layers for the best texture.
