This slow cooker beef and peppers recipe is a savory and easy dish, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup beef stock or broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 pounds top sirloin
  • 3 large bell peppers cut into chunks
  • 1 large white onion
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, add the beef broth, soy sauce, bouillon, Worcestershire, brown sugar, ginger, salt, pepper, and cornstarch, and whisk until combined.
  2. Cut the beef into thin slices, and the peppers and onions into large chunks, and place them into the slow cooker.
  3. Add the minced garlic along with the sauce.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4.
  5. Serve over white rice or pasta and enjoy!
