Description
A refreshing and sweet banana milk made with ripe bananas, perfect for a quick drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, or your choice)
- ¼ cup water
- Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Choose a ripe banana. Start with a banana that has some brown spots on the peel. The riper the banana, the sweeter your drink will be naturally—making it ideal for achieving that signature mellow banana flavor without adding too much sugar.
- Blend it all together. In a blender, combine the banana, sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and water. Blend until smooth and frothy. If you like your banana milk extra cold, feel free to toss in a few ice cubes and blend again until well combined.
- Taste and adjust. Give your banana milk a quick taste. Add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter, or a splash more milk if you’d like it thinner.
- Serve and enjoy. Pour your banana milk into a glass over ice, or enjoy it as-is. You can also chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving for an extra refreshing drink.
Notes
- The riper the banana, the sweeter the drink.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
