Description

This creamy cheesecake features a delicious sugar cookie dough crust that adds sweetness and texture.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 16 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Press half of the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan evenly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until combined.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the cookie base and layer remaining dough on top. Finish by pouring the rest of the cheesecake mixture.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly; cool at room temperature then chill for at least four hours.
