Description

Deliciously roasted Brussels sprouts tossed in a miso butter sauce, perfect as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp white or yellow miso paste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and mix in the miso paste until fully combined. Stir in minced garlic.
  3. In a large bowl, combine halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour in the miso butter and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining miso butter.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more miso paste to taste.
  • You can also toss the Brussels sprouts with other seasonings like chili flakes for heat.
