Description
Delicious and creamy chocolate popsicles made from ripe avocados, perfect for a healthy treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe avocados (about 300g)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g)
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup (80ml)
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk (240ml)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (5ml)
Instructions
- Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, and vanilla extract to the blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top.
- Insert popsicle sticks into each mold.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
- To remove from molds, run warm water over the outside of each mold for a few seconds.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of maple syrup to your liking.
- Swap coconut milk with almond milk for a lighter version if desired.
