- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dried cherries (chopped)
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (toasted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips, dried cherries, and sliced almonds gently.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
