Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips, dried cherries, and sliced almonds gently.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
