Delicious grilled chicken burgers topped with homemade tzatziki sauce and fresh veggies.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber, grated
- 4 burger buns (ciabatta or pita recommended)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the chicken: Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Grill each breast for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Make tzatziki sauce: Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (squeezed to remove excess water), minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Assemble the burgers: Toast burger buns if desired. Place grilled chicken on the bottom half of each bun and top generously with tzatziki sauce and your choice of fresh veggies.
- Serve immediately with extra tzatziki on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding some diced jalapeños to the tzatziki sauce.
- Fresh herbs like dill or mint can also be added to the tzatziki sauce for extra flavor.
