Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Make the sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Combine: Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Toss with pasta: Add drained fettuccine to the sauce and toss until fully coated. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually.
  5. Serve: Season with salt and pepper as needed and serve hot.

Notes

  • This dish can be garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
