Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or oregano
- Flour for dusting

Assemble the Tree: Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on the floured surface into a large triangle shape (like a Christmas tree). Spread the spinach and cheese mixture evenly over the triangle.

Top Layer: Place the second sheet of puff pastry over the filling. Cut both sheets into a Christmas tree shape, removing excess dough.

Create Branches: Cut horizontal lines on both sides of the tree shape, leaving a strip in the middle to serve as the trunk. Twist each cut strip gently.

Brush and Season: Brush the entire tree with beaten egg. Sprinkle with dried Italian herbs or oregano.
