Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano until well combined.
- Prepare the Bread: Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices if not already sliced. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on each slice.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered side of each bread slice.
- Bake: Arrange the slices on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil (Optional): For a golden brown top, switch the oven to broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Garnish: Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle additional parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
